Riverside Inn ~ Part 2

Last month I shared with you about our overnight visit at the Riverside Inn in Cambridge Springs in PA. This hotel makes you feel like you are stepping back in time, perfect place for quality time with friends or family. Upon our arrival we enjoyed a glass of wine in the lounge, followed by a nice walk on the grounds. The grounds are lovely and such a nice venue for that special occasion. The hotel itself is packed with history. Let me share some of the photos with you.

Giving something back

As some might  know, we have lived the military lifestyle for many years. Now retired after Don served for 24 years, we still feel connected.

It just becomes part of the way you live. Let me tell you watching shows on HGTV, where people say they have to have granite or this or that always makes me wonder... Really, living overseas many a times we got 2 or 3 choices for a house to choose from. Sometimes they would show you house 1 out of 2, but you had to make the decision to accept or not before even seeing the other choice. So my house in Okinawa, Japan was based on the vision of having garlands coming down the wood bannister during Christmas. Yup, I know might not make sense, but it ended up to be perfect home for us. And yes every Christmas I had garlands strung along my bannister. And actually when we bought our house in Feeding Hills, I was still in that black and white mindset. We bought the first house, we looked at, just because it felt like a home. But like they say home is where the heart is!

So this year we are offering a military discount for all active duty families and their military dependents, who continued to serve. For more details visit http://www.gale-photography.com/family-portrait-special-2016
